Stehe gerade vor der Aufgabe meine HDD auf eine SSD zu klonen und wollte mir dafür einen USB Stick mit GParted erstellen. Bin dafür über das Tool Xboot gestolpert ( https://sites.google.com/site/shamurxboot/download), mit dem man unter Windows ganz einfach per Drag und Drop aus dem ISO - File der Gparted LiveCD einen bootfähigen USB Stick erstellen kann. War echt begeistert wie schnell und einfach das geht. Und es kommt noch besser - man kann sogar mehrere ISOs draufkopieren und das Tool erstellt automatisch ein Bootmenü, wo man die verschiedenen LiveCDs / Rescue-Disks auswählen kann. Da das so einfach geht, habe ich beschlossen, aus meinen diversen USB Sticks mit Virenscanner-LIVE-CD, Windows XP, Ultimate-Boot-CD usw. einen einzigen Ultimate-USB-Stick zu erstellen. Das ist meine derzeitige Liste: - Windows XP - Windows 7 - Windows 7 Reparaturdatenträger - Gparted LiveCD - Ultimate Boot CD - Kaspersky Rescue Disk Bitte um weitere Vorschläge, was noch drauf sollte!

Hört sich für mich fast wie mein PXE Bootserver an. Nut habe ich kein Windows dabei, dafür Firmware Updates für IBM...
Vielleicht sollte ich mal an der Umsetzung für OpenWRT weiterarbeiten...

Hast Du's zusammengebracht, Windows 7 per xboot auf den USB Stick zu bringen? Ich probier's gerade mit 8.1 und ich bekomm einen Error. Fatal Error Occured in Application.
