ich befürchte jetzt ähnliche glaubenskriege wie bei der frage nach dem java-editor...

i mag editplus recht gern
is vl ned so hardcore editor, dafür hat ma für viele sprachen syntax support und selbe oberfläche für alles... k protos kann ja auch einige :)

Imo Ultra Edit, aber mit Proton hab ich bis jez noch net viel gearbeitet.

editplus gefällt mir auch sehr gut :)
besonders die unterstützung für massenhaft sprachen.

proton is freeware, ja - hat auch haufen syntaxschemas.
zum downloaden einfach im google "proton editor" eingeben, is dann glaub ich der erste oder zweite hit.

Also ich find den PHP Editor von DZSoft ziemlich nett zum entwickeln ...
Sehr praktisch wenn man grad keinen Server zur hand hat ...
