It's been heralded as the best air cooling solution on the market today and while it may well be the best it's not actually the most efficient on the Thoroughbred Athlons according to our test results. Amazingly that honour now goes to the Cooler Master HHC-001 that seems to revel in the extra heat. On the Palomino however the results are simply exemplary and earn it the top dog title by some margin. Interestingly if the HHC-001's T-bred performance is due to those heat pipes then I'd love to see what the SLK-800 is capable of with a couple of heat pipes strapped on .
