Also bundled with the console is a single Wii Remote, a Nunchuck controller, stand, sensor bar, AV cable and PSU. Extra Wii Remotes will set you back £29, while extra Nunchuck controllers will cost a not unreasonable £14. You’ve probably noticed that the classic controller (pictured below) does not ship in the box, but again this isn’t going to break the bank at £14.

Nintendo had also promised that the games would be affordable and the prices are definitely lower than we’ve seen for the Xbox 360. With games priced from £34 to £39, you’re looking at around £10 cheaper than an X360 game, although you’ll probably find them a bit cheaper than that from your favourite online retailer.

[...]Zelda uses the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller, and the result is a whole new way to adventure. You move Link around using the Nunchuk, while aiming and actions are controlled using the Wii Remote. It’s actually surprising how much of a workout you get when using both controllers like this, but once you get the hang of it you realise just how “right” Nintendo was to change the way we play games.

[...]But it’s not all about the shooting, there are some great features like having to open doors – you grab the handle, pull it out, twist it, and push it back in to unlock the door, and of course, because it’s the Wii Remote, you’re doing exactly that.
