bietet OS X (10.4.8) die möglichkeit seine mac adresse zu ändern?
oder kennt irgendjemand tools dafür?

btw mir geht es nicht um die AIRport nic, sondern die 1gbit ethernet.

For anyone who has not noticed it ... you are now able to change the system's Ethernet card MAC adress without any third party software. Just do a:
% sudo ifconfig en0 ether aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
where en0 is the network interface (numbered from en0, en1, en2 ...) and aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff is the desired MAC address in hex notation.

Problem wäre das gleiche wie bei smut.

Die Mac Geekery-Methode geht nicht mehr.

One thought: If you do Time Machine backups to a network volume it names the backup disk image based on your wired MAC address. If they let you change it that could cause problems. That could be why you can change the wireless but not wired address in Leopard.

aber das backuppen über timemachine geht trotzdem? Das war nämlich die Befürchtungen warum apple das Mac-Addrändern nichtmehr zulässt
