WinXP Refresh rate fix for 27.42 drivers - Many of you may have noticed that the Nvidia refresh rate fix does not work with the latest 27.42 dets. This is because Nvidia has changed the way the registry stores the refresh rate information. Here's how to fix it:
-Install any det version between 23.11 and 27.20. Apply the refresh rate fix as normal.
-Using Regedit go to the key HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/nv/Device0
-Using the Export Registry Key function copy all values from the Device0 key.
-Uninstall the drivers using Add/Remove programs.
-After reboot install the 27.42 drivers. Go to the same Device0 key and delete it.
-Create a new Device0 key and import the saved values.
