irc client/script. aber welcher/welches ?

hu!

da ich ziemlich viel in diversen irc-channels bin, und mein bisheriges script nnscript (http://www.nnscript.de, welches mirc erst erträglich machte imho) scheinbar nichtmehr weiterentwickelt wird, wollte ich mal nach alternativen fragen.
zudem soll ja mirc auch ziemliche sicherheits-lücken haben.

was verwendet ihr denn für welche? (client/script ?)

gut. alternativ ist ma jetzt auch noch des irc-plugin vom miranda eingefallen. ist halt kein eigenständiger client, aber da des eigentlich ohnehin immer rennt würds gleich in einem gehen.

Klar, den Funktionsumfang eines nnscript wird es vermutlich nicht bieten können, aber die wichtigsten Features hat es eigentlich, sofern ich das beurteilen kann

irssi wäre auch noch eine möglichkeit aber der ist hald nur commandline bzw fenster kenn ichs nur als mac os x port

edith: mal wieder nicht genug gelesen, so lange der macport frei ist passt eh alles :P

gut. hab mir jetzt mal x-chat installiert, und bin grad am einstellen. gibts empfehlenswerte plugins ? (von den x-fachen auf der seite gelisteten...)
