miranda wäre ja top, nur isses für mich unbrauchbar, weil es eine funktion nicht kann: genau das, was ICQ als "group mode 2" bezeichnet. [also online und offline user geteilt, oben alle online user in verschiedenen gruppen, unten alle offline user in verschiedenen gruppen]

oder übersehe ich in miranda nur die option, das so einzustellen?

options -> contact list -> contact list sorting -> sort contacts by name -> [] dont move offline contacts to bottom

("expert options" hab ich eingestellt)

is ein 0.4 über eine ältere drüberinstalliert. ich werds mal neu installen, vielleicht bringt das was.

add:
hm, reinstall bringt nix. er löscht außerdem beim uninstall meine settings und meine user info (zB eingetragener ICQ account inklusive passwort) nicht. grundsätzlich sehr praktisch, aber irgendwie auch sehr unhübsch.

aber da sortiert er die contacts ja nur innerhalb der gruppe - mir fehlt ja die gruppenübergreifende trennung in online und offline :confused:

Liegt glaube ich daran, dass du Miranda wohl mit dem exe-Installer installiert hast. Dann werden diverse Daten im User-Verzeichnis von Windows gespeichert.

Besser ist es IMO, immer die .zip Version des Releases runterzuladen und alles einfach in den gewünschten Miranda-Ordner zu schupfen. Dann ist alles an seinem Platz und lässt sich einfach sichern/kopieren/löschen.

Die Option "don't move offline contacts to bottom" hab ich übrigens auch nicht, allerdings habe ich hier noch 0.4 RC1 oder so laufen.

Ich hab diese Option (don't move ...) ebenfalls nicht (manuelle Installation).

jetza versteh i erst was genau du willst..
bei dir sind dann die gruppen quasi doppelt in der cl, einmal für online und einmal für offline user. seh i des richtig?
des geht afaik ned mit miranda..

jo, das könnte so sein.

anbei die illustration, wie ICQ den "group mode 2" gestaltet:
oben alle online user, in gruppen unterteilt. unten alle offline user, in gruppen unterteilt.

"hide offline" bringt zwar einen ähnlichen effekt, aber wenn ich dann eine message an einen offline user schicken will, muss ich zuerst alle offline user einblenden, den dann raussuchen und schicken. bei ICQ spar ich mir das einblenden, da hab ich die offline auch immer gleich griffbereit (ok, die gruppe muss ich per doppelklick öffnen, des geht aber recht flott).

i hab sort contacts by status eingstellt und alle "wichtign" gruppen offn. i seh also alle leut, egal ob online oda offline.

Ich schon und die hatte ich sogar schon in 0.3.3.1 iirc ist aber oben bei den "general" options unter list glaub ich
