WordPress - Bildupload nicht möglich

Hallo an alle!

Habe folgendes Problem: Ich habe vor kurzem Testweise eine WordPress-Installation bei mir unter Mac OSX draufgespielt. Als Webserver bzw. MySQL Server nehme ich XAMPP for Mac. Es funktioniert soweit alles recht gut, nur der Upload von diversen Mediendateien (Bilder, Musik, Videos) scheitert am Schreiben auf die Platte ("Failed to write file to disk"). -> Im angefügten Screenshot sieht man die Fehlermeldung noch mal genau...
Ich denke, dass dem WordPress-User irgendwelche Rechte zum Schreiben fehlen, da auch die "Remember me" - Funktion beim Einloggen nicht funktioniert.

Woran scheitert es? Hatte jemand dieses Problem schon einmal?

Google hat leider auch keine passenden Lösungen parat...

hast eh /wp-content/uploads/ auf berechtigung 777 gesetzt?

Ja, das gesamte WordPress-Verzeichnis inklusive Unterordner hat chmod777.

Logfiles (Applikation und/oder Webserver) beinhalten nichts Brauchbares?

So wird's schwierig, das zu debuggen - es sei denn, du kannst ein bisschen PHP.

wordpress ist aber nicht wirklich apple software.
die fehlermeldungen lassen auf ein schlecht installiertes xampp schließen.

hol dir einen gratis space von bplaced.net und spiel dich lieber dort herum, da passts wenigstens mit der konfigurierung

Kein Problem. Dachte nur das du vielleicht im General Software mehr Beachtung für dein Anliegen finden würdest. Aber nachdem es an der XAMPP Installation liegt..
Schon weitergekommen?

Ich bin noch nicht weitergekommen, zwar gibt es Lösungswege, diese brachten aber in meinem Fall nichts.
