wie kann ich \" in " umwandeln ?

(bringe es nicht mit preg_replace zusammen - gibt es eine andere möglichkeit ? )

str_replace()

spart auch performance..

bzw.. mir kommts eher so vor als möchtest du allgemein "entslashen".
schau dir stripslashes() an.
