grub und hdf1

kennt sich jemand von euch mit grub aus?
ich bin jetzt ein bissal verwirrt :confused:
in der gentoo installationsanleitung steht:
hda1 = (hd0,0)
hdd7 = (hd1,6)

was is jetzt meine hdf1?
(secondary master an 2. ide controller)

kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen

das kommt drauf an welche platten du noch im system hast. mahc mal in ner shell "grub", dann gib hd ein und mach tab, dann siehst du welche hds grub erkennt (im grub format).
