nforce 500, ide festplatten sind nicht da?

Ich hab mir kürzlich einen neuen pc gekauft und musste feststellen, dass die ide platten anscheinend nicht erkannt werden. Ich hab 3 160gb ide platten und ein ide dvd lw, wenn ich alle anhänge werden alle im bios erkannt, aber ls /dev/hd* liefert mir nur /dev/hdc und das ist das cd laufwerk. Ich tipp auf einen kernel konfig fehler, aber ich komm nicht drauf.

Ich hab jetzt nur noch eine dran hängen, dass ich da leichter herumbasteln kann. Wie gesagt die platte wird im bios angezeigt.

Ich glaub das ist entscheidend, ich hab zwar ein paar google hits gefunden, aber nix, dass mir weiterhilft.

Ich habs gerade ausgetestet, es liegt nicht am bios, bei einer live cd wird die festplatte erkannt.

Vllt irgendwer eine idee?
