Samsung has done nothing but improve on a good product with the 172MP. For ~US$700, you don't only get a decent 17 inch LCD monitor, but also a mini-multimedia center with full component and composite audio and video capabilities. All that is needed is a 5.1 sound decoder onboard and you would be set. With a press of a button, you can lean back in your office chair and turn your workstation into essentially a livingroom to watch your favorite TV program or watch a DVD.
