nettes teil. ich werd mir dennoch den 3COM 5port GBit Switch holen damit er zu mein AP passt

imo wenn die preise akzeptabel werden (und damit meine ich mind. 8-12 ports) werde ich vlt. auch auf gigabit umsteigen... vorher hat es keinen sinn

ps: ja, das PDF bezieht sich auf Lanparty + Gbit Netzwerke aber es ist trotzdem passend...

auch wenn mit aktuellem equipment die theoretisch erreichbare performance nur schwer erreicht werden kann ist dennoch in der praxis eine leistungssteigerung von 50-60% drinn, sprich so 50-55MB verschiebt man dann schon mal, und das ist im bezug auf den mehrpreis (welcher mehrpreis, das zeug kostet JETZT so viel wie standard 10/100 equipment - bezogen auf NICs).
