Naja, der A64 FX ist aber auch nur deshalb dahinter, weil die Grafikkarte von dem Typen net so hoch ging

fugger is running his 9800XT at 600/434

oppainter is running his at 600/465

fugger has a p4ee at 4.46ghz

oppainter a A64 at 2.7ghz

fugger's 2k1 score: 29,263

oppainter's: 28,700

oppainter has a higher clocked 9800XT, much higher on the mem, but still is scoring lower. it looks like, paired with the 9800XT, the A64 is the bottleneck... whereas the p4ee isnt, as much...

ofcourse, if the next batch of a64's can get up to 2.9+ghz 3dmark stable, then 30k+ will deffinately be within sights.

just saying... all of you downplaying the p4ee should take a look at the video card clocks, and who is still on top of the orb.

and, i mean this for just current hardware, whenever a 2.4ghz amd64(FX) comes out, the p4ee will probably drop to #2.

mit nem durchschnittlichen P4EE holst niemals 4,46Ghz so stabil zum laufen dass 3DMark durchrennt

das war immer schon so zwischen intel und AMD! amd hohlt mehr leistung pro mhz raus als intel. sie setzten auf mhz leistung hoch 3!

das is aber imho auch ned das thema, sondern der p4ee is im high-end (freak-) bereich schneller...

ich würd mir keinen der beiden kaufen also, was solls...

Beeindruckt mich auch net sonderlich.
Wenn da Opp so a Masn CPU hätt würd sein A64 auch 3 Ghz und mehr gehen und dann wärs umgekert.
Mein was willst,4.6 Ghz...der Score beruht für mich auf mind. 50% Masn wegen da CPU

Das liegt vermutlich daran das der eine P4 EE extrem Masn is und das Board auch.
Das bisl Mem das da Opp hat is IMHO zu vernachlässigen.
Bei 3d Mark 03 wär interessant wer gewinnt,wird sicher noch wesentlich knapper zugehen.
Und mich interessiert mehr als alles andere der CPU Score von dem P4EE und der von dem 3 Ghz A64 vom Opp

Ich find den Vergleich schwachsinnig.
Der A64 is grad am Anfang, der P4 am Ende.
Es heißt nach wie vor abwarten

Für mich sind beide Syteme Traumsysteme...ob da jetzt Intel oder Amd drauf steht is mir wurscht...hautpsache es is billig!
