die scores sind ein wahnsinn für eine dualsoket platform.

amds quadplatform wird schwer mit dem zu kämpfen haben.

ja, die multitasking performance ist einfach der wahnsinn.
dagegen sehen auch recht neue xeon systeme alt aus.

Mich wundert's, daß die Plattform keine registrierten (oder FB) Module braucht, sondern stabil mit Unmengen von normalem DDR-III läuft, das is schon arg. Mal abgesehen von der Leistung. Mal sehen, wenn wir das nächste Mal auf der Arbeit eine Rechenmaschine kaufen fürs Rack, dann kann ich vielleicht schon Nehalem Xeons vorschlagen..

wird wohl auch auf den speicherausbau ankommen ob man wirklich ddr3 dreg. braucht oder nicht. würde schon vermuten, dass für 3 slots pro kanal dann reg. benötigt werden, wenn man nicht auf geschwindigkeit verzichten will.
