Endlich ein gscheiter Mini-PC mit AGP-Slot. Kein Herumgurken mehr mit den integrierten Grafiknotlösungen. Ein erster Test des Shuttle SS51 findet sich hier:

mir is bei so einem System eine onboard Grafik eigentlich lieber, da billiger und weil i sowieso net damit spielen würde

allerdings.. da is eh noch a Grafik onboard oder?

Ich finds eigentlich interessant dass man den lüfter hochdrehen lassen kann - und zwar bis zu einer CPU Temp von 76° - wie schafft man das mit nem P4?

200 Watt find ich etwas untermagert

aber bis auf diese 2 dinge isses ein recht süßes kasterl
8500er und audigy rein => got w00t wohnzimmer-divx rechner

Hmm, auf die audigy würde ich aufgrund der vorhandenen Anschlußmöglichkeiten sogar verzichten.

AC-97 vergleichst etwa mit 5.1?

edit:
Ich würd bei einem home-divx player im wohnzimmer (imho DAS zielgebiet schlechthin für das ding) nicht auf 5.1 verzichten.

The AC'97 link on the motherboard is the latest from Avance Logic (a brand of Realtek), the ALC650. The ALC650 is a 6-channel AC'97 codec that drives the optical and analog audio ports on the outside of the SS51. Using the ALC650's driver control panel you can remap the three 1/8" ports on the I/O panel of the motherboard to be used as analog 5.1 outputs.
