Hallo Leute,

Habe mir vor kurzem eine Logitech MX510 gekauft und die Treiber von der CD installiert (für WinXP), jetzt habe ich seltsame Plötzlich-Boots des Systems. Der Bildschirm wird schwarz und der PC bootet neu, egal ob ich gerade in einem Spiel bin oder auf der normalen Windows-Oberfläche.

Zeitgleich hab ich auch eine neue Version vom Zonealarm installiert, bin mir also noch nicht sicher was also nun Schuld an der ganzen Geschichte ist, ich tippe aber eher auf die Maustreiber.

Kennt jemand von euch das Problem und weiß vielleicht jemand ob man die Logitech auch mit den Standard-XP-Treibern betreiben kann? Wenn man das kann, wird dann die höhere Abtastrate genutzt?

probiers mal mit den standardtreibern
wenn das funzt, schau im i-net obs eine neue mouseware gibt

hm......
sollte eigentlich schon funktionieren. Außer in der mouseware gibt es eine eigene einstellung dafür.
Ansonsten bringts die mouseware nur für die tastenbelegung usw... (bitte korregieren, falls ich falsch liege)

Bin wohl nicht allein mit dem Problem, mit den neuen Mouseware-Treibern scheint es viele Probleme zu geben, z.B.:

Don\'t get me wrong, the Logitech MX510 is an AWSOME mouse - the best I\'ve ever had. I bought it because the UT2K4 Demo showed me how pathetic my Intellimouse Explorer truly was. I plugged the ?510 in and had no issues. Windows detected it, and everything except for the change program button worked. After using the mouse for a long day of UT2K4, I decided to try the drivers (MouseWare9.80) that came with the \'510. After all, it even says on the box that the drivers are \"Gaming-Tuned.\" After installing the drivers, things got a lot worse. While playing games I started to randomly get Windows Critical Errors at intervals of about 15 minutes. After using the computer for another day, I found that this wasn?t limited to games, it was occurring no matter what program I was in. I made a serious mistake - I didn\'t make a restore point, so now I\'m backing up everything in preparation for a clean reinstall of XP. Ironically, in the middle of backing up my files to a network drive, the critical error popped up again and crashed explorer. Don\'t install Mouseware 9.80, it\'s just not worth it. All you gain is the program switch button, and you can already do that with ALT-TAB. If you are possessed for some reason to install them anyway, at the very least, make a restore point. Then you might have some chance of fixing your system if things go awry.

In dem Fall bleibt dir wohl nix anderes als die Standardtreiber
