Zu Xen, aus ihrem Wiki:
http://wiki.blackmesasource.com/Sin...cond_Release.29ZitatThe game ends in Lambda Core!? What happened to Xen??
The Xen-related chapters were postponed to the second release. See more info about that.
Have you made any significant changes to Xen? What changes?
Yes. Xen will be pretty well expanded, basically a complete game in its own right. But for more details, you'll just have to wait and see when you play that portion of the game.
xen = when it's done. :ugly:

ZitatFeatures:
Over 10 Hours of single player gameplay, up to the Lambda Core chapter
Deathmatch and team deathmatch multiplayer
6 Stunningly recreated multiplayer maps from Half-Life 1
Dedicated servers
The Source Engine, pushed to its limits!
An incredible, full-length soundtrack
Fantastic new choreographed scenes and all new voice acting

)
ZitatThe Steam integrations, MP and huge improvements across the board the selling points of the Steam release. Those SP improvements include:
Some new weapon models, some of the lower res models up-res'd
Almost entirely reanimated weapon set
Rewritten soldier AI
Entirely rerecorded and rewritten soldier voices
Entirely rebalanced singleplayer (yours truly!)
Loads of new models/props and textures to replace older, lower fidelity stuff
Craploads of bugfixes and improvements
Much higher game stability due to newer Source engine build and access to engine-level fixes
Better optimisation in places (particularly Lambda Core)
New particle effects and sounds for many weapons
Aus nem älteren greenlight posting:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/updates/94128543/1384883243:ZitatThe Plan:
Soon you'll see Black Mesa available on Steam for a relatively low price. But we aren't dropping all support for the free version. In fact shortly after the Steam release there will be a completely new free version of the game. We also plan to open source our maps and some game assets to the modding community!
Purchasing the Steam version of Black Mesa is more about supporting the team and our efforts than anything else. However, the Steam version will include features that the free version simply can not have. We will be paying careful attention to feedback, and you'll have a very real say in how the final game turns out.
