golden age war imho eh ziemlich lang. frühe bis späte 90er würd ich etwa sagen.
die zeit von SCUMM, C&C, space-sims, wirtschafts-sims, taktik-games, riesigen aber lebendigen RPGs, und SP-Shootern.

autsch ja. arcade war nie so meins, aber die guten alten jump'n'runs waren so alltäglich dass man sie fast garnicht erwähnen muss :cool:

mir ist in den letzten jahren kein spiel untergekommen, welches das wort "retro" besser rüber bringt.

FreeSpace2 ist seit 2002 in der US-Version Open Source.
Bin jetzt gerade nicht sicher, ob beim Open Freespace jetzt auch die Freespace1 Kampagne enthalten ist.
Bei mir hat das Open Freespace leider nie wirklich funktioniert (keine Sprachausgabe und die vielen Texte lesen während der Missionen geht einfach nicht -> ma bekommt von der Story nix mit, daher konnte es mich nicht begeistern.

ich hab alle games (nona als alter tbt'ler).
ebenso reizvoll sind allerdings auch die soundtracks und die fallout bibel.

das reizt mich schon enormst.

Die ersten beiden Teil habe ich nie gespielt, aber die drei Teile die danach kamen waren genial. Schade dass es abgesetzt wurde

Ich hab da nie zugeschlagen weil mir der Preis ehrlich gesagt immer zu hoch war und die "Angebote" nicht wirklich welche waren. Dafür das man das ganze nur digital bekommt hätte ich eher auf Preise von 2 bis max. 3 Euro gehofft und nicht 5 Euro oder mehr.
