Problem bei System Shock 2

Ich will dieses Spiel auf meinem Win 2k PC installieren und er meint folgendes:

This product can not be installed on Windows NTdue to a Microsoft Direct X 6.1 (tm) limitation.

Dann drück ich auf OK und es hört auf zu installieren!
Das kommt noch befor ich den Pfad und ähnliches angebe!

Auf dem Rat vom Smoldi hab ich das "Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit" installiert, aber mit dem geht es auch nicht!!!!

Was kann ich da noch machen??

Ich habe Win 2k SP3 mit Direct X 8.0!!

Bitte dringend um hilfe!

start - ausführen
regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

shortcut mit setup erstellen
rechtsklick auf shortcut - properties - compatibility

funktioniert mit sp2 oder sp3
