Hab gestern Vampire bekommen, wollts installieren,kommt fehlermeldung und brichtg ab

win2k mit sp3

auf ntcompatible steht es rennt...?? tuts aber nicht, irgendwer ideen?

die fehlermeldung kommt nachdem setup die installation vorbereitet hat, nach 100% is dann vorbei

irgendwer ne idee?

Check this out..it's the workaround for the error you are having but thats not all of it. From what the techs told me, the patch won't install correctly on win2k boxes with the workaround applied. What I did is install the whole game on my friends box (winxp) (biggest install) and then I patched it up (everything worked fine). What I did next is
burn the entire game over two cdrs (obviously it didnt fit onto one and no i didnt create image, just data copy). When I copied it back onto my box, I imported the reg files from the activision website and the link above. Now the frustrating part (as if it isnt already), is that the multiplayer worked well and the game ran but when I tried to play single player it just dropped me to desktop w/out an error. So I did this because I was desperate. I did the workaround install from above (note: just click through the errors and on any selections you have to make w/in the install process just leave at what was originally selected) and after the install was over I copied the .exe from the install on my friend's box (currently on the cdr) and overwrited the one in my workaround install dir...after taht the game wont run because it asks for cd2 even if it's in there..the solution is to go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com and grab a crack to make the game run v1.1 w/no cd and it works...so far i should say. I dont know to what extent this will work but it sure as hell gave me the ability to save where ever I want and jump into v1.1 multiplay games. Let me know if you have any ?'s..

also bei mir am pc rennts mit w2k aufn lappi auch und bei an freund am laptop auch ...

der fehler tritt so weit ich mich informiert habe nur auf einigen rechnern auf. welche faktoren da aber jetzt mitspielen konnte ich leider auch nicht herausfinden. zumindest aber gibt es besagten workaround, der nicht allen, aber den meisten betroffenen helfen kann.
