While the modules from PQI and Centon were a few MHz off the pace, this could just have been luck of the draw, and it's actually comforting to see a realistic "spread" in performance across various manufacturers' modules that we have tested. While these may be hollow words for PQI and Centon, I say this because reality is often a bitter pill to swallow for the computer enthusiast, and there are no guarantees that any PC3200 memory will run 201MHz much less 280MHz. Sure the Corsair and G.Skill are rated for 275MHz operation or PC4400 spec, but if all of our PC3200 kits did 280MHz+ I would be suspicious that we were not getting samples that would represent what other users could potentially achieve with retail purchased memory. On a positive note, I know of several individuals that have gotten 270-275Mhz with PQI memory that is the same model number and dual channel 1GB kit the one we tested in our labs. I have heard many positive stories of Centon TCCD memory as well.

All told, each set deserves credit for being extremely overclockable and worth some serious consideration should you be in the market for memory to apply towards a Socket 939 buildup.
