The MoviX project is a series of three different tiny Linux CD distributions containing all the software to boot from a CD and play multimedia files through the MPlayer, the best multimedia player in the Unix world:

sehr gut, genau das habe ich gesucht *saug*

werd's mir mal anschaun und erfahrungen posten (insofern mein brenner funktioniert)

edit: zurück vom testen. habe die version ohne gui probiert. funktioniert alles einwandfrei: hardware wurde fehlerlos erkannt. kann files von allen hdd's, cd-rom und dvd abspielen. vcd funktion, online-streams habe ich noch nicht getestet.

ich werde jetzt mal die version mit gui saugen und anschaun

edit: glaubts des geht auf einem 166er *g*
zumindest mp3 müssten doch funzen oder?! bei vids kann i mas fast ned vorstellen

also das gui ist nett, es werden (logischerweise) auch skins unterstützt (mplayer)
leider hat sich bisher meine usb mouse noch nicht zum funtkionieren überreden lassen, aber mit der ps2 mouse funtkionierts prächtigst.

ein tolles "os" für divx-kisten, sogar ohne hdd

mp3's müssten gehen, movies packt der sicher nicht
