hab heute apache2 emerged und stehe nun an:

alucard# apache2ctl -t
apache2: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
Syntax OK
alucard# apache2ctl start
apache2: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
alucard# ps ax | grep apache
 8191 pts/2    S      0:00 grep apache
alucard#

bitte warum startet der Server nicht? Die Syntax ist ok und der Fehler mit der FQDN ist ja nur ein Warning und im Windows hauts auch ohne FQDN hin.

FQDN meckert er nur, im endeffekt brichts erm ka bein.
sicher, dass er ned läuft?
edit: hört sich zwar deppad an, probier aba mal über
/etc/init.d/apache2 start

ich hab gerade keine gentoo box mit apache, aber ich bilde mir fix ein das noch eine änderung in der config notwendig war bevor apache lief.

schreib nach localhost mal den rechnernamen dazu. bei mir hat's gentoo beim booten immer rumgmurrt wennst da ned den hostname einträgst.
