Folgendes Problem:

"LILO 22.2 Loading Linux" kommt noch, dann hängt der Computer.

an der hdd liegts nichts, hatte es bei meiner alten installation nachdem ich den kühler rausgetan hab (ned während dem betrieb ;)) und später wieder reintan hab. jetzt eine neue installation gmacht und das selbe.

ram hab ich auch schon checked.

cpu-temp passt auch.

"unnötige" hardware hab ich auch schon rausgenommmen.

beide ide-ports hab ich auch versucht.


an was könnts liegen?

Vielleicht eine fehlerhafte Installation bzw. Konfiguration der HDDs?

boote von der install cd, gib im promt "rescure /dev/deinerootpartition" ein.

glaub ich nicht wenns von einem mal auf das andere und auch bei einer neuen installation ned geht.

Oder noch besser: Gleich grub anstelle von Lilo verwenden. :)

des mit lilo funzt ned. komischerweise is es ja bei 2 platten mit jeweils einer installation das selbe problem.

nimm xfdisk als bootmanager :)

ich hab jetzt auch parallel win2k und redhat 9 installed und mit xfdisk 0 probs :I

xfdisk wird im nix bringen, es starten auch nur den entsprechenden bootloader des jeweiligen betriebssystem.

Hast du schon probiert lilo einzugeben? Dadurch wird die lilo Konfiguration neu zurückgeschrieben.
