Ich hab bei 4x und noch mehr bei 8x DVD Brennen das Problem, dass schon z.B. beim Öffnen des IE der Buffer leerläuft, bzw die Maschine völlig ausgelastet scheint. Kann doch nicht sein? Neuinstallation auf zur Probe reingehängter SATA HD brachte auch nix. BIOS ist 1017.

P4 2,4C@2,75Ghz
2x256MB Crucial RAM
LG4120DVDRAM
NEC3500
2x 120GB Maxtor 7200/mín am IDE RAID, nicht als RAID konfiguriert

Platten kann ich am Raid ja nicht beeinflussen, sind aber ebenso wie die Brenner auf DMA.
