Kanns sein, dass deine grafikkarte als 2 erkannt wird und du damit die 2048x2048 sprengen kannst?

ich muss zugeben ich bin mit meinem latein am ende, ich hab nicht wirklich eine ahnung was du da am besten machen kannst. Wenn das wirklich zwei einzelne devices sind solltest du über xinerama auch einfach 3d beschleunigung bekommen. Allerdings ist das nur eine vermutung

Die Karte hat einfach 2 CRTCs, so wie jede andere moderne Karte mit Dualhead-Faehigkeit. Um Abwaertskompatibilitaet mit Multimonitoring-Modes von Windows 9x und afaik auch 2000 zu gewaehrleisten, propagieren die Karten zwei physische Devices ueber den PCI-Bus. Fuer mergedfb bringt das trotzdem nix. Ich les den Thread mal morgen gegen, vielleicht kann ich helfen.
