Vor kurzem wurde folgender Teaser Trailer für ein Spiel namens "HARDWARE: shipbreakers" released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgylViCFHAs

Allem Anschein nach ein quasi-Prequel zur Homeworld Story auf dem Planeten Kharak (Spaceship found in the desert, siehe Homeworld Intro). Gemacht wird das Ganze von den Machern von Homeworld und dem Executive Producer von Homeworld 2 (laut video).

Recht viele Infos gibt es aber noch nicht. Scheint aber ein f2p, persistent multiplayer strategy ding zu werden.

nice, ein homeworld nachfolger wär mal sehr nett. der trailer is halt leider etwas detailarm... ein bissl gecompte concept art, nja..

Neues von der Unite 2015 developer conference. Am Anfang ist dort ein kurzer Trailer zu sehn. Danach gehts hauptsächlich um ihr Procedural Cinematography Tool für Unity, fand ich auch ganz interessant.

Es hat mal wieder eine Namensänderung gegeben, das Spiel heißt jetzt Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak und kommt am 20. Jänner 2016.

Es ist zwar geil die typische, audiovisuelle Homeworld-Ästhetik vorgesetzt zu bekommen, dass jetzt aber scheinbar nur ein "Homeworld am Boden" rausgekommen ist, finde ich enttäuschend. Ich hatte gehofft das wird mehr so in die Richtung Adventure/Exploration

Man kann ja noch hoffen, dass es wenigstens techn. halbwegs fertig entwickelt wurde aber was das Spielprinzip angeht, bin ich bei Mr. Zet.
