Warum verwendet oc.at "noch" ein Table-layout anstatt table-los mit divs zu arbeiten? Bzw. bei Titeln mit div anstatt mit spans?

imho ist auch nix schlimmes an tabellen... die funktionieren wenigstens

ich weiß & ärger mich über den Tabellen-sind-schlecht-Hype in der CMS/Forum-programmiererwelt (hab Foren mit divs erstellt um "Design von Inhalt" zu trennen & find den source noch untransparenter)

Mich hats nur eben gewundert, weil ja der Hype ja durchaus Verfechter & Gründe hat. Wird v5 auch so ausgebaut sein? Finds einfach interessant, weil ich wieder an einer Forumstruktur bastel & nicht weiß, obs wieder divs sein sollen...

kann sein dass ich einfach schon zu lange mit <table> rumwerf, aber ich find die guten alten tabellen auch einfach übersichtlicher als css only. für einfaches layout jederzeit aber wenn mans x-mal verschachtelt und eine heftigere layoutstruktur hat ists einfach nemma gscheid lesbar.

na, war auf die Startseite bezogen - wirkt ja optisch auch mehr nach div-design als tabled.
Wird das in Tabellen beibehalten (auch das Forum)?

tabellen in nem forum haben imho sehr wohl ihre daseinsberechtigung, z.b. zum klassischen anzeigen von "threadname, datum, optionen,..."

vollständiges design via tabellen solltest halt vermeiden
