There's more to like about the Tachyon G900 Pro than its available output ports. The Tachyon's massive heat sink and variable speed fan certainly bodes well for its GPU overclocking potential, and I like the fact Tyan spent some quality time tweaking ATI's reference design. By combining a solid, well-cooled card with a hardware monitoring utility and a smart bundle, Tyan has put together quite a package for gamers and enthusiasts. And let's not forget to give ATI a little credit for making the Radeon 9600 Pro such a capable performer.

In the end, the Tachyon G9600 Pro leaves me impressed and maybe even a little vindicated. After years of whining about the lack of dual DVI options for consumer-level cards, Tyan is finally bringing a dual DVI output option to mid-range ATI-based graphics. Can I get an Amen? The fact the Tachyon G9600 Pro is such an attractive card independent of the dual DVI option only sweetens the deal.
