Gary Coleman dies at age 42

Gary Coleman, child star of 'Diff'rent Strokes," has been removed from life support and passed away.

Coleman was admitted to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Wednesday, May 26 after he fell and hit his head. The doctors said a brain hemorrhage was what most likely caused the fall and left him in critical condition.


In a statement released Friday, May 28 by Coleman's manager John Alcantar, it was made public that "Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened ... Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support.
