Kein Assassin's Creed im Jahr 2011?

Die ersten beiden Teile der Assassin's Creed-Reihe waren sehr erfolgreiche Titel und auch der nächste Ableger namens Brotherhood befindet sich bereits in Entwicklung und soll schon im November 2010 erscheinen. Jean-Francois Biovin von Ubisoft meinte kürzlich dennoch, dass Assassin's Creed III erst im Jahr 2012 oder 2013 ideal wäre.

der herr von ubi hat wohl recht. man sieht ja z.B. sehr gut an der nfs-serie, was passiert wenn man jedes jahr einen neuen teil erzwingt.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has refused to confirm that Assassin’s Creed will be taking a break next year.

This comes after Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood producer Jean-Francois Boivin was quoted by Eurogamer last week as saying the series would be taking a breather in 2011.

Guillemot unceremoniously blocked the talk, however.

“The decision is not theirs,” he said in an earnings call following the release of the firm’s FYQ1 financial results today.

“It would not be right to comment right now.”
