intel hat den fehler nun gefunden, das firmwareupdate soll in den nächsten tagen/wochen erscheinen.

edit: blick noch nicht durch, hat doch geheissen es kommt ein firmware update tool für mac os auch? :-) Oder kann ich von dem iso wenn ichs brenn auch aufn mac dann booten und updaten?

Thanks intel for burning my time. Seriously, you promised to bring out a osx compatible firmware upgrade. This is not funny anymore !!

also das update hat ja nix mit dem betriebsystem zu tun. man booted von einer live-cd und spielt dann die firmware auf. ob das ISO auf macbooks booted ist eine andere frage. aber es ist egal ob man windows, os x oder linux verwendet.

Ab und zu Packens das iso in eine exe, vielleicht deshalb. Hab ich aber auch schon beobachtet.

hab das update eben an einer meiner 320 durchgeführt.
performance ist gleich, daten noch alle da. ich hoffe mal, dass der 8mb-bug wirklich behoben ist.

für das update musste ich übrigens ne ps2-taststur suchen. das update-tool wollte meine usb-tastatur nicht annehmen, obwohl diese bisher mit noch jeder software (z.b. image-tools, usw.) funktioniert hat.

ich hab das update heute auch auf einem HP 2560p und 8460p ausprobiert - bei beiden gings mit dem usb keyboard

ebenfalls ohne datenverlust auf jeden fall.

operating system habens schon geändert auf der Intel seite.

Ich brenn das iso auf eine CD mit dem Festplatten-Dienstprogramm (hab nur externes DVD-LW über USB). Dann ist auf der CD eine exe datei und eine txt datei.

Wenn ich von CD Booten will kommt ein "Verbotszeichen" abwechselnd mit dem Apple Logo und sonst nix

Aktuelle Apple-Maschinen booten... seltsam: http://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/4957.html Ich wuerde also nicht zu viel Pipi in den Augen Richtung Intel flieszen lassen, wenn deren ISO-Image, das auf jeder anderen Intel-basierten Hardware anstandslos bootet, auf einem Mac nicht ohne Weiteres tut
