also folgender sachverhalt:

ich hab an pII 350 von compaq rumstehen, den ich gerne als server einsetzen möchte. bis jetzt hab ich drei verschiedene linux versionen ausprobiert, und zwar mandrake 7.2 , 8.0 sowie 8.1 und keine von denen will sich installieren lassen -> kernel panic. total komisch. windows installation ist kein problem, aber das will ich nicht.
