hu. hab mir eine ganz einfache smb.conf gemacht. wenn ich den samba server starte dann finde ich ihn zwar von einem windoof rechner aus aber ich kann nicht auf ihn zugreiffen... weiss da vielleicht wer was. vielleicht hab ich auch was in der cfg vergessen. hier ist sie mail

[bla]
comment = bla
path = /home/bla/
read only = no
public = yes
security = share

rechte im filesystem gesetzt?

ich hab dem verzeichnis mal auf chmod 777 gesetzt. mehr hab ich nicht gemacht.

gib das security = share unter [global] dann sollts funktionieren (ist afaik global only)

ich hab mir diese smb.conf gebastelt...
ich seh jetzt auch vom win rechner aus die gruppe und einmal hab ich kurz den linux rechner gesehen..

jetzt seh ich aber nur die gruppe aber rein kann ich net von außen... das public verz. is auf 777.. woran kann es dann noch scheitern?

distri is redhat 8.0
