aber eine VM mit einer 30 tägigen Testversion is ja schnell aufgesetzt...

was soll der vorteil davon sein? bzw. was erhoffst du dir dadurch?

Generell sind die Serverversionen eher nicht für den Desktop-Einsatz empfehlenswert ;)

Ein Windows 7 mit aktuellen Updates ist auch nicht weniger aktuell. Home Server hat halt ein paar Dienste mehr...

ist aber bei den Treibern viel empfindlicher und du musst diverse Dinge händisch nachrüsten.

Eine Win7 Prof Lizenz bekommst um 50€, soviel billiger ist der WHS auch nicht
