Hab es auch einmal versucht, finde die Oberfläche nicht schlecht - für eine alpha

Ich finde es ja nachwievor interessant, allerdings finde ich es extram schade, daß sie eine doch recht unübliche Software Kombi verwenden. Eigentlich blöd, denn wäre es in php, würden viel mehr einen Server beisteuern und die Verbreitung wäre wesentlich leichter.

aber mit mysql und php würde es mir mehr zusagen, da leichter installierbar.

A, thx, hab ich wohl übersehen. Wobei ist auch nicht sehr aussagekräftig, wenn man bedenkt wieviele unterschiedliche Module für PHP und Apache existieren.

Aber man sieht gleich, dass es was anderes benötigt als Diaspora

. Und vielleicht steht sogar in der Doku (gibts überhaupt eine :O) ganz genau, was verwendet wird.

Die Readme im Source ist "sehr" detailiert

Requirements:

1. Apache 1.2 or 2.0

2. PHP5
a. GD image manipulation library.

3. MySQL 5+
b. InnoDB Transactional Database

Install Instructions

1. Move this directory into the htdocs/ or public_html/ directory where
appleseed will be run from. Appleseed cannot be installed in a
subdirectory. Subdomains, however, are fine.

2. Create a mysql database and username/password.

3. Point your browser to your website, and follow the install script
instructions.
