nicht reprodzieren heist halt bei google nicht viel.
die anti-adblock-popups hatte ja auch nicht jeder.

YT ist im FF schon seit Monaten ziemlich langsam, vor allem was das initiale Laden von Inhalten angeht.

Update, November 21, 2023 (02:13 AM ET): YouTube has provided a statement on the issue, clarifying that the issue is related to ad blockers and not with browsers:

This does not completely explain how the five-second delay goes away when using Google Chrome. But it gives us good clarity on the behavior. Users who experience the delay are advised to either allow ads for YouTube or subscribe to YouTube Premium.

beim edge daheim ists mir auch schon aufgefallen... mit brave hatte ichs bis jetzt noch nicht.
werd am abend mal schaun obs hilft seinen user-agent auf chrome zu ändern

desktop_polymer_enable_wil.... hab ich nicht. sowieso würde man 5s sofort merken wenn man schon drauf achtet

edit: der längste http://www.youtube.com/s/desktop.* request dauert bei mir 700ms

edit: was nicht heißt dass ichs nicht für möglich halte, aber wsl ist es in Europa noch ned ausgerollt

Die 5s sind mir beim brave auch schon aufgefallen. Prinzipiell bin ich ja für jeden Softwareriesen dankbar, der mich beim digital detoxing so tatkräftig unterstützt

Ich wärme das Thema mal wieder auf, da ich ja US Produkte derzeit meide wie die Pest aber auf YT teilweise schwer verzichten kann, bin ich auch auf Grayjay gestoßen.
Keine Ahnung wie ich ohne dem ausgekommen bin, Werbefrei, Desktop & Mobile Apps mit Sync, Downloads von YT, Twitch, etc., lokale Playlist, lokale Subscriptions und und und

Das ganze sogar im Playsote verfügbar, keine Ahnung wie das geht.

Also bisher find ich den Rossman durch und durch positiv(excl seiner doofen Katze), ein Verfechter von Right of Repair und absolute intoleranz gegenüber Werbung
