Laut dem Artikel ist das Root passwort in:

/var/log/installer/cdebconf/questions.dat /var/log/debian-installer/cdebconf/questions.dat

als klartext abgespeichert. Wer die distri verwendet sollte vllt mal etwas chmodden

issue

heute is ein update zu passwd gekommen, das das prob behebt :)
