ich werd in absehbarer zeit auf xdsl umsteigen und würd gern mein debian kastl weiterhin als firewall, server etc verwenden.

da die hdd pfeift tausch ich die gleich um und setz das ganze neu auf. was muss man denn beim xdsl einstellen beachten? hatte noch nie was mit adsl oder ähnlichem zu tun.

auch links sind erwünscht. beim gegoogle hab i nix wirklich befriedigendes gefunden

xdsl läuft bei im normalfall eh über ethernet, ned über usb. ich weiß jetzt ned genau, was du meinst. was hast denn jetzt für eine anbindung?

oh, sorry. ich war fest davon überzeugt, dass des gleich funktioniert wie bei sdsl.
