Ich will meinen Pentium 3 1 GHz mit einem selbstgebastelten CPU-Kühler versehen - denn der Standardkühler ist unerträglich laut.
Daher meine Frage:
Kann der Prozessor wie ein AMD krepieren, falls er zu heiß wird, oder schaltet er sich einfach ab?

der p3 wird einfach abstürzen und nix mehr tun, an p3 killen is scho sehr schwer (i sag ned das unmöglich is)

des stimmt! mit vorschlaghammer is nix unmöglich :D:D

hehe
mein alter P III hat sogar fast a minute ohne Kühler ausgehalten
war aber nachher a bissl heiss ...
hab dann zum glück no gsehn das ich vergessn hab den kühler draufzugeben ;)

ja stimmt... bei mir hats 2.3V gebraucht das ich den 700E hab abderwuergt...

cA2 hab ich auch noch an, den 550E SL3V5... Lief damals auf 880MHz / 160MHz FSB bei mir wie er frisch am Markt war.... Des war damals SEHR viel!

Der is sogar momentan in Betrieb mit am Alpha P3125S und am 120mm Fan @ 5V...
