Ich hatte mal exakt denselben Prozessor, und mit einem Alpha P3125S und 2.6V lief er stabil auf 620MHz, aber mehr ging nicht...

wie schaut das dann eigentlich aus wenn ich mir a besseres mainboard kauf ?? kann man dann no mehr rausholen ??

Ich weiß nicht ob da noch viel mehr rauszuholen ist, weil bei zu hohen Taktraten meistens der alte externe Cache vom Katmai beginnt Probleme zu verursachen. Manche Boards bieten aber die Möglichkeit die L2 Cache Latenz im BIOS zu verstellen, ansonsten gibts dafür des Software-Tool von www.h-oda.com zum Verstellen eben dieser Latenz beim P-III Katmai L2 Cache.
Ansonsten gilt die goldene Regel: Mehr Spannung und bessere Kühlung :)
