Nachdem ich meine Soundblaster PCI 128 gegen eine Player 5.1 getauscht hab ,hängt sich mein PC nach etwa 1/2 h beim 3D Spielen oder bei ana DVD auf. Selbst eine Formatierung hat nix bracht. Dann hab ich die 5.1 rausgenommen, und siehe da: alles funktioniert. Jetzt hab ich eine DMX Xfire 1024 , und das Problem tritt noch immer auf.
Was soll ich machen??????????

AMD Athlon Classic 800 MHz
K7M
ASUS V7700 pure
Pioneer 10x40x
ABIT Raid Controller (hängen beide Festplatten dran)
nichts übertaktet
Win 98

neueste treiber installiert ?
versuch mal den pci-steckplatz zu wechseln, vielleicht hilft es was.

Ich hab schon öfters gehört, daß es Treiberprobs gibt, also würd ich mal die neuesten installieren!

Vielleicht wird die SB Karte zu warm...
Die AWE-64 in meinem alten PC is auch schon recht warm geworden, hab einfach nen kleinen Kühler draufgetan, versuch das mal, wenn sonst nix mehr hilft.
