Gibts eigentlich noch andere CPU hersteller von früher is ma nu cyrix usw. bekannt aber gibts die heut noch? bzw. wo gibts so was zu erwerben da ja alle nur mehr von Intel und AMD reden *g*

wenn wer a paar gute seiten weiß oder so aja google hat ned des umwerfende ausgspuckt.

Gehst du auf http://www.alternate.de , da kannst dir einen VIA C3 mit 1,1 oder 1,2 Ghz kaufen, aber sowas halt mehr für WohnzimmerPC´s interessant

nur ob windows drauf rennt ist a andere frage
IBM baut z.b. auch cpus nur rennen die net mit windows ..
SGI hat auch mal welche gebaut aber das gleiche wie oben

Für beide (PowerPC und MIPS) gab's aber mal Windows (NT 4). Wurde aber bald eingestellt.

naja Via is a alternative und da Transmeta auch.
sand aber ned ganz so leistungsstark aber könnten bald in die Notebook reige kommen (2-3 Jahre)

apple verbaut mittlerweile nur noch ibm cpus oder tut es bald nur noch nachdem motorola zum G4 keinen nachfolger liefern konnte

naja da G4 wird ja nu fleissig verbaut. (i und powerbook, imac)
nur den G3 hat apple jertzt ganz eingestellt (imho)
