"UT2007 will be a major evolution for the Unreal series. The game will be viewable by the public at Midway's booth at E3 next week.

As outlined in GameSpot's exclusive preview, Unreal Tournament 2007 will once again feature the sci-fi action that has made the series popular. According to Epic president Mike Capps (a video with whom is available below), UT 2007 will "be a mix of UT 2004 and the original [Unreal Tournament from 1999]." Though it will likely not feature UT 2004's less-than-popular domination mode, the game will sport deathmatch, team deathmatch, onslaught, assault, capture the flag, and one-on-one duels. The game will also sport an all-new mode, conquest, which will feature a new style of gameplay, according to Epic.

Laut dem Interview mit Dr. Mike Capps von Epic Megagames ist der Conquest-Mode eine Mischung aus Onslaught und Assault. Teilweise gescriptete Missionen und die Seamless Streaming Technology sollen Verlagerungen der Front über mehrere Maps hinweg ermöglichen. Man startet zB in der Blue Base, arbeitet sich ein wenig vor, erledigt vielleicht eine Nebenmission um mehr Ressourcen zu erhalten und verteilt so die Front auf ein relativ großes Gebiet. Das soll zu einer gesteigerten Komplexität führen und macht diesen Modus letzlich taktischer.

jösas, wenn die grafik wirklich so gut is wie auf den bildern zu sehn is na dann brauch ich wohl bald einen neuen PC

Sieht geil aus, aber UT war ja schon immer der shooter mit der besten grafik!

jo bischen schnller könntens ut schon machen ^^
beim 2k4 konnt ich irgendwie den geschwindigkeitsregler beim server erstellen nimma finden.

aber an sich is ut ein wahnsinns game. wird sicher 0gin0l ge0wnt

Naja, das Gameplay von UT2k4 ist definitiv nicht schlecht.
Habe den Onslaught Modus der Demo damals als nette Abwechslung empfunden.

Q3 ist natürlich auch genial, v.a. RocketArena & Co.

Allerdings bin ich noch skeptisch was Quake 4 angeht...das sieht mir sehr nach einem schlechten Doom³ Klon aus.
Da gefallen mir die Screens von UT2K7 besser.

tja, das is eben geschmackssache...
ich fand das gameplay von ut immer ziemlich gut!

aber ich hätt nix dagegen wenn sie das neue etwas schneller machen würden, wird sich ja noch alles ergeben...
