meine hdd is ne seagate barracuda IV mit 60gb
zum formatieren meiner c-partition, die 15gb hat, werden 38 minuten benötigt
das is ja nicht normal, was hats da?

kann scho sein dasses solang dauert, wie schnell is die platten zugriffszeit usw... das alles nimmt einfluß darauf

im dos formatieren dauert ewig. im win2k hab i gestern 6 GB fat32 formatiert und das hat auch ewig gedauert.

im linux geht das immer ruck zuck bei der installation (wird eben nicht so eine gründliche formatierung sein)

die barracuda 4 rennt mit 7,2kUpm, die is net so langsam.

Formatierst NTFS? Und formatierst a komplett neue partition?
