Wollt nur fragen, ob dies die richtigen Debian-CDs sind (zum Installieren):

das ist die stable version

lad dir die testing runter. ist nicht wirklich instabil hat aber sonst viele vorteile.

hmm, LOL

Sollte aber wirklich stabil laufen, das ist das Problem. Aber wenn testing wirklich stabil ist, und sonst auch viele Vorteile bringt, dann werd ich das vielleicht nehmen.

Ich würde noch etwas warten da 3.0R1 in Kürze erscheinen soll. Sarge oder SID sind nicht wirklich empfehlenswert, da zumindest die aktuellen SID CDs nicht richtig funktionsfähig sind.

Falls es unbedingt ein Debian Unstable sein soll kannst du auch Knoppix nehmen. Knoppix ist praktisch Debian unstable mit KDE 3.0.x, Plug&Play und lässt sich direkt von CD starten. Eine HD Installation ist aber auch möglich :)

Gerade bei Debian ist es ziemlich egal, ob man eine alte oder eine neue Version installiert. Eine einzige Zeile bringt die Distribution jederzeit später auf den aktuellsten Stand...
