Hi!

Ich hab folgende Konfig. Auf Partition C: NTFS mit Win2000, auf D: FAT32 nur Daten.

Wie kann ich nun C: neu formatieren, um dann Win2000 neu aufsetzen zu können? Ich weiss, auf BootCD ist Format, aber:
Gibt es eine "Quickformat" Option, oder muss ich C: komplett (=>langsam) formatieren?

im prinzip solltest du doch nur das verzeichnis vom betriebssystem umbenennen müssen, oder?

das ist sicher das schnellste...

ABER: Ich will meine C: ganz löschen, sprich den ganzen Datenmüll loswerden. Ich möchte ja nicht 2 Win2000 Versionen.

und del *.* auf c: ist dir nicht endgültig genug?

was spricht gegen das "normale" formatieren? hm, in der zeit zwischen deinen posts, hättest du die festplatte schon 2x formatieren können ;)

Also eine "Quickformat" Funktion gibts nicht?
So wie unter Win9x?

klar isses da, aber man kann doch nich unter win die win-platte formatieren - dann müsste win2k sich ja selbst löschen, und das übersteigt irgendwie die grenzen meiner vorstellungskraft... :p

Na dafür brauchst halt 2 Windowse, das ist schon klar. Aber anscheinend hat Goldlocke gemeint, ob's im Installation eine Options für Quickformat gibt. Die gibt's anscheinend nicht.

Na gut, dann muss ich halt weiterhin "normal" formatieren.
