Also bei mir kommt der Prompt immer noch?!

Da mussten sie das "improvement" sogar im Namen der about:config-Option unterbringen, um selber daran glauben zu koennen, dass die Aenderung sowas darstellt

Alternative Lösung, in den Einstellungen auf "Jedes Mal nachfragen, wo eine Datei gespeichert werden soll" umstellen.
Dann kommt aber jedes Mal die Auswahl mit Speicherort und das ist dann auch nervig.

Mit der alten Variante sehe ich ja auch die Dateigröße, bevor ich auf speichern klicke.

Alles in allem aber eher eine ziemlich sinnarme Verschlimmbesserung..

Mozilla hat sich ja vor geraumer Zeit umstrukturiert, da ist nicht mehr viel übrig, das was taugt. So schade um den seit über 15 Jahren besten Browser.
